- 5 lb. potatoes
- 1 large onion, chopped (optional)
- 1 stick butter or oleo
- milk for mashing
Directions

1Peel, cook and dice potatoes.

2Cook chopped onion in milk. Do not let boil.

3Melt stick of butter in hot onion milk mixture. Mash potatoes with the hot onion milk butter mixture.

4Beat until creamy.

5Put cool potatoes in individual packages and store in freezer.

6When ready to use, thaw out,

7place in Corning Ware dish and reheat in a steamer.

8Will taste like fresh mashed potatoes.
