- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1 c. lukewarm water
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 2 c. scalded milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in water and sugar; set aside for 10 minutes. Mix sugar, shortening and salt with scalded milk; cool to lukewarm.

2Combine yeast and milk mixture; add flour and mix well. Drop by spoonful onto greased baking sheet.

3Bake at 300° until lightly browned.
