  • 2 c. flour
  • 3 t. baking powder
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 2/3 c. milk

    Sift together the dry ingredients in a medium-sized bowl. Pour oil into measuring cup. Add milk, but do not stir. Then pour all at once into the flour. Stir with fork until mixture clears sides of bowl and rounds up into a ball. For rolled or patted biscuits, smooth up, kneading 10 times with no additional flour. With dough on waxed paper, press out 1/4-inch thick with hands or roll out between waxed paper. Cut with unfloured biscuit cutter. Bake at 475° for 10-12 minutes on ungreased baking sheet.
