  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. Crisco
  • 3/4 c. milk

    Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Cut Crisco in with 2 knives or pastry blender until like coarse meal. Add milk; mix with fork or hand. Knead on lightly floured board 8 to 10 times. Roll or pat out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Bake on baking sheet at 425° about 15 minutes.
