- 2 c. Herman
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. melted oleo or cooking oil
Directions

1Mix Herman with flour to which has been added soda, salt and oleo or oil.

2Add more flour if too thin, making a stiff dough. Lightly knead to form biscuits and drop in buttered pan.

3Allow to rise double in size.

4Brush with butter.

5Bake at 400° for a few minutes; reduce heat and bake about 25 minutes.

6This mixture can be made into bread instead of biscuits.
