- 9 c. flour (self-rising)
- 3/4 c. lard
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. Clabber Girl baking powder
- approximately 3 c. milk (enough to moisten)
Directions

1Melt lard and margarine.

2Set aside.

3Do not let get too hot. Combine flour and baking powder together.

4Add milk.

5Mix well. Add lard and margarine and stir until lard is mixed well and cannot be seen.

6Knead entire mixture with flour and pat out.

7Cut out with small water glass, 8 to a pan.

8With pastry brush, coat pan and top with shortening.

9Can be frozen and baked later.
