- 1 3/4 c. unbleached flour
- 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. baking pwdr
Directions

1Preheat oven to 475 degrees.

2Stir together flours, salt and baking pwdr; cut in shortening till mix resembles coarse cornmeal.

3Add in lowfat milk and blend lightly with fork till flour is moistened and dough pulls away from sides of bowl.

4Turn out on lightly floured surface; knead lightly, 30 seconds.

5Roll 3/4 inch thick, cut round biscuits and place in round greased pan.

6Bake till golden, approximately 10 min.
