  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/3 c. cherry juice
  • 1 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. chopped maraschino cherries
  • 2 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Mix first 6 ingredients as any loaf cake, using cherry juice for liquid.

    If mixture seems too soft, add more flour.

    Add remaining ingredients and bake in loaf or tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
