- 6 eggs, well beaten
- 2 c. sugar
- 3 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. chopped dates
- 1 (10 oz.) jar maraschino cherries, chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. chopped pecans
Directions

1Combine eggs and sugar.

2Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to egg mixture.

3Stir in dates, cherries, chocolate chips and pecans.

4Pour batter into two well-greased loaf pans.

5Bake at 325° for 1 1/4 hours or until done.

6Cool in pan 10 minutes; remove and cool completely.

7Let stand overnight before serving.
