- 1 1/2 blocks butter, melted and cooled
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. milk
- 2 c. Bisquick
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 4 to 5 Tbsp. cornmeal
Directions

1Melt butter and set aside to cool.

2In a bowl, beat eggs; add milk and cooled butter.

3In a separate bowl, combine the Bisquick, sugar, baking soda and cornmeal.

4Mix together the wet and dry ingredients.

5Pour into greased 9 x 9-inch pan.

6Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

7Cool before cutting.
