  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 c. Crisco or whatever shortening you want to use

    Sift all dry ingredients together in a very large bowl.

    Cut in the shortening until mixture is the consistency of corn meal. Store in covered container at room temperature.

    Use just like Bisquick.
