Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce

- 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate, cut up
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
Directions

1In a heavy, medium saucepan melt chocolate and margarine or butter over low heat until melted, stirring frequently.

2Add milk, sugar and corn syrup.

3Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat. Boil gently, stirring frequently for 8 minutes or until mixture is thickened.

4Remove from heat.

5Cool slightly.

6Serve warm.

7To store, cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 1 week.
