Black Bean Pizza

  • 1 prepared 10-inch pizza shell
  • 1 can (15 oz.) drained black beans
  • 1 container fresh salsa, hot or mild
  • 2 hot Italian turkey sausages, cooked, drained and crumbled
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 c. nonfat Mozzarella cheese

Directions

    Place pizza shell on pizza pan that has been sprayed with Pam and sprinkled with cornmeal (this makes it easy to cut and serve). Spread drained black beans on shell, then salsa.

    Sprinkle on cooked turkey sausage.

    Cover with cheese and cilantro.

    Bake at 400° in preheated oven for 7 minutes.

    Serve with a large green salad, using nonfat Italian dressing.
