  • 1 bag Dried Black Beans
  • 1 jar Salsa (large)
  • Water

Directions

    The night before, rinse beans and pick through for rocks and other undesirables.

    Place into a pot, cover with water and bring to a boil.

    Turn heat off, leave the lid on and go to bed.
  4. 4
    The next morning, strain beans and dump into your average-sized crock pot.
  5. 5
    Add the large jar of salsa (whatever kind makes your skirt fly up), stir and add water until there is at least an inch of water above the beans.

    Pop the lid on, put it on low and dont bother it until supper that night.

    Give it a stir and serve with corn bread.
