- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 medium bell pepper, diced
- garlic salt to taste
- hot, cooked rice
- sliced green onions (optional)
Directions

1Sort and wash beans.

3Cover with water 2-inches above beans.

5Drain beans.

6Cover with water 1-inch above beans.

7Add 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon garlic salt.

8Cover pan and bring to a boil.

9Reduce heat and simmer 2 to 3 hours or until tender.

10Remove cover and simmer until liquid thickens.
