- 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. pecans
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Line 18 muffin cups with paper baking cups. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, egg and 1/2 cup sugar.

3Mix well.

4Stir in chocolate chips and set aside.

5In large bowl mix flour, 1 cup sugar and cocoa.

6Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

7Fill paper cups 1/2 full.

8Top each with 1 tablespoon cream cheese mixture and pecans.

9Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until cream cheese is light golden brown.

10Cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.

11Store in refrigerator.
