Apple Baked Squash

Ingredients

  • 5 cups squash, peeled and cut in 1 cm thick slices
  • 1 apple, cored, peeled, and thinly sliced
  • 14 cup brown sugar
  • 14 cup butter, softened
  • 1 12 teaspoons flour
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 14 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 -2 tablespoon water (optional)

Directions

    Arrange slices of squash in an 8 inch microwaveable dish.

    Arrange slices of apple over the top of the squash.
  3. 3
    Combine remaining ingredients and drop by spoonfuls over the top of the apples and squash.

    Cover and microwave for 17-20 minutes.

    NOTE - if necessary add a small amount of water to the dish.
