- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/3 c. oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Blend cream cheese, egg, chocolate chips, 1/3 cup sugar and 1/8 teaspoon salt together.

2Mix together flour, 1 cup sugar, soda, oil, vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon salt, cocoa, water and vinegar.

3Fill 2 paper-filled cupcake tins approximately 2/3 full with second mixture.

4Put spoonful of first mixture on top; sprinkle with sugar.

5Bake 25 to 30 minutes.

6Yield: 24 cupcakes.
