- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. + 2 1/2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
Directions

1Combine cream cheese, eggs and 1/3 cup sugar and beat well. Add chocolate chips and set this mixture aside.

2In another bowl, mix together flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar and cocoa.

3Add water, oil, vinegar and vanilla and beat well.

4Grease muffin tins and line with papers.

5Fill 1/3 full with chocolate mixture, then add 1 teaspoon cream cheese (mixture) in center.

6Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.

7Frost if desired.
