- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 (1 small) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

1In a small bowl blend cream cheese, egg, 1/2 cup sugar, and pinch of salt well.

2Stir in chocolate chips and set aside.

3In a large bowl sift flour, sugar, cocoa, salt, baking soda.

4Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla.

5Beat well.

6Fill well greased and floured or lined small muffin tins 1/2 full of chocolate batter.

7Top each with heaping teaspoon of cream cheese mixture.

8Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.

9Do not let tops turn brown.
