  • 1 c. oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. boiling water

Directions

    Mix sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla.

    Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa.

    Mix with other ingredients.

    Add boiling water slowly.

    Batter will be thin.

    Bake in metal layer pans at 350° or large glass loaf pan at 325°

    about 40 minutes or until done.
