Ingredients
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 4 oz. melted, cooled unsweetened chocolate
- 1 1/4 c. water
- 1 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. Chiffon soft margarine
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 whole eggs
Directions

1Place all ingredients except eggs in a mixing bowl.

2Beat together at medium speed for 4 or 5 minutes.

3Add whole eggs and beat for 2 minutes.

4Pour into 4 buttered 9-inch cake pans.

5Bake at 350° for 15 to 18 minutes.

6Cool before filling.

7Spread first layer with half of chocolate filling.

8Add the second layer and cover with half of cream filling.
-
9Repeat, having cream filling on top.

10Chill cake until firm before serving.
