- 2 small cans black walnuts or the equivalent thereof
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 1/4 c. margarine
- 3 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 4 unbeaten eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter with sugar.

2Add eggs one at a time and beat well.

3Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk, ending with flour.

4Add vanilla and floured walnuts.

5Bake in a greased and floured tube pan at 350° for 45 minutes or until toothpick tests done.

6Cool on a rack for 20 minutes before removing from pan to cool.
