- 1 c. black walnut halves
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Directions

1Mix ingredients, adding black walnuts last.

2Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake in conventional oven at 400° for 15 minutes.

3Reduce temperature to 300° and bake about 30 minutes more or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold.
