  • 1 c. black walnut halves
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Directions

    Mix ingredients, adding black walnuts last.

    Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake in conventional oven at 400° for 15 minutes.

    Reduce temperature to 300° and bake about 30 minutes more or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve warm or cold.
