- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. black walnuts, chopped
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter, sugar and salt together.

2Beat eggs until lemony and add to mixture.

3Blend well; add chopped nuts and vanilla. Mix well.

4Pour into pie plate lined with uncooked pastry.

5Bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

6Lower temperature to 350° and bake until firm.
