  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. oil
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. blackberry jam

    Cream sugar, oil and egg, then add flour with milk.

    Blend well.

    Add jam by folding in gently.

    Bake in two 9-inch pans at 350°.

    When done, spread extra jam between layers.
