Blackberry-Lime Sundaes

  • 2 Tbs. lime juice
  • 1 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp. lime zest
  • 2 cups fresh blackberries
  • 1 pint vanilla frozen yogurt
  • 4 1/4-inch-thick round lime slices, optional

    Combine sugar, lime juice and butter in large skillet over medium-high heat.

    Cook 3 minutes, or until sugar dissolves.

    Let cool 2 minutes.

    Stir lime zest into syrup, then toss with berries in bowl.

    Scoop frozen yogurt into glasses or dessert dishes; spoon berries and sauce over frozen yogurt.
