Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2/3 c. margarine
  • 2 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Directions

    Mix flour, baking powder and salt together.

    In a large saucepan, melt margarine.

    Stir in brown sugar and remove from heat; cool 10 minutes.

    Add eggs, beating well.

    Stir in flour mixture, nuts and chocolate chips; blend well.

    Spread in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch baking sheet which has been greased and bake at 350° for 25 minutes.
