  • 1 cup Plus 3 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 cups Butter, Melted, Cooled To Room Temp
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar, Packed
  • 1 Egg, Beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

    In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt).

    In a large mixing bowl, stir in butter and sugar together until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla. Stir again.

    Slowly add the dry mix. Stir until all is combined. It should be thick enough to scoop out with a spoon or a cookie scoop. You can chill the dough until firm.

    Bake at 350°F for 10-13 minutes, until golden brown. Cool for 2 minutes on the sheet and than transfer to a wire cooling rack.
