- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. blueberries
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 c. margarine
Directions

1Beat 3/4 cup sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs; beat well.

3Stir together 2 cups of the flour and milk alternately to beaten mixture.

4Beat until smooth after each addition.

5Spread in a greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch or 9 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

6Top with blueberries.

7Combine remaining 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon; cut in margarine until crumbly. Sprinkle over blueberries.

8Bake in a 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes.

9Cut into squares.

10Serve warm.
