Ingredients

  • 3 c. flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. milk
  • 3 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. blueberries (frozen or fresh)
  • 3/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

    Sift dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl.

    Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla and beat vigorously about 2 minutes.

    Fold in blueberries.

    Combine nutmeg, sugar and pecans.

    Sprinkle over top. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or until cake tests done.

    Serve warm or cold.
