  • 6 cups fresh blueberries
  • 13 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbs. cornstarch
  • 1/2 tsp. grated lemon zest
  • 1 13 cups whole-wheat pastry flour
  • 2 Tbs. plus 1 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 5 Tbs. unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup fat-free sour cream
  • 3 Tbs. low-fat milk

    Preheat oven to 350F.

    To make Filling: Combine all ingredients in 11x7-inch baking dish.

    To make Topping: Whisk together flour, 2 Tbs.

    sugar, baking powder, salt, and baking soda in large bowl.

    Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse meal.

    Stir in sour cream to form soft dough.

    Drop 8 dollops of dough on top of blueberry filling using large spoon or ice cream scoop.

    Brush dough with milk; sprinkle with remaining 1 tsp.
