  • 1 (20 oz.) can undrained crushed pineapple (I use only 1/2 to 3/4 of the juice, if at all)
  • 3 c. fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 sticks butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/4 c. sugar

    Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking dish and spread the following in layers:

    blueberries, 3/4 cup sugar sprinkled on berries,

    dry

    cake

    mix,

    melted butter or margarine, pecans and 1/4

    cup

    sugar sprinkled on top.

    Bake at 325° for 30 to 35 minutes

    Serve warm or cold. Good with Cool Whip.
