- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons grated lemons, rind of
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, melted
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups blueberries, fresh or frozen
- Topping
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine, melted
Directions

1Add first 6 ingredients to a large mixing bowl; stir to combine.

2Add the milk, butter, egg, and vanilla; using an electric mixer, beat for 2 minutes or until well blended.

3Pour batter into a greased 13x9 inch baking pan.

4Sprinkle with blueberries.

5For the topping: in a smaller bowl, add the sugar and flour; stir to mix.

6Add the butter; toss with a fork until crumbly.

7Sprinkle over blueberries.

8Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until lightly browned.
