- 3 Tbsp. shortening
- 3 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 well beaten eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. fresh blueberries, washed and drained
Directions

1In bowl, cream shortening and sugar until fluffy.

2Stir in eggs.

3Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.

4Add this mixture a little at a time alternately with milk.

5Beat until smooth.

6Stir in blueberries.

7Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake in oven at 450° for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
