  • 2/3 c. shortening
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 3 heaping tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1 can blueberries, drained, or 1 c. fresh

Directions

    Cream sugar and shortening until fluffy.

    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

    Sift together dry ingredients.

    Add alternately milk and dry ingredients.

    Gently add blueberries. Bake in greased muffin tins at 375° for 15 to 20 minutes.
