- 1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. butter, divided
- 2 1/4 c. sugar, divided
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 c. flour, divided
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. fresh blueberries
Directions

1Grease tube pan with 2 tablespoons of butter.

2Sprinkle with 1/4 cup sugar.

3Set aside.

4Cream 1 cup butter.

5Gradually add 2 cups sugar, beating well.

6Add eggs, one at a time.

7Add vanilla. Combine 2 3/4 cups flour, baking powder and salt.

8Add gradually to creamed mixture.

9Dredge blueberries with remaining 1/4 cup flour; stir to coat well.

10Fold berries into batter and pour batter into prepared pan.

11Bake at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes or until done.

12Cool in pan for 10 minutes.

13Let cool completely.
