Blueberry Salad

Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. blackberry Jell-O
  • 2 c. boiling water
  • 1 (15 oz.) can or 1 pt. fresh blueberries, baked in small amount water until tender
  • 1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. pecans

Directions

    Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water.

    Drain blueberries and pineapple.

    Measure liquid; add enough water to make 1 cup.

    Add Jell-O to mix.

    Stir in blueberries and pineapple.

    Pour into flat pan or Corning Ware dish.

    Cover; put in refrigerator until firm. Combine cream cheese, sugar, sour cream and vanilla; spread over congealed salad.

    Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
