Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. accent flavor enhancer, found in spice section of supermarkets/walmart
  • 1/2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp. ground Chinese five spice
  • 3 lb. eye of round sliced in 1/8 inch thick across grain

    Blend all ingredients except beef in small bowl.

    Dip each piece of beef in marinade, coating well.

    Place in medium bowl.

    Pour remaining marinade over top of beef.

    Cover and refrigerate over night.

    Place the strips of beef in food dehydrator trays and dehydrate for 8-10 hours.

    Oven method: place on cookie sheets, put oven temperature on 200 degrees with oven door cracked open for about 6 hours
