- any day old bread (from the deli or crusty French or Italian bread)
- 1 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 3 large cloves garlic
Directions

1Peel, slice garlic lengthwise and place in olive oil overnight. Six hours before dinner, cut bread into cubes of 1/2 to 3/4-inch. You should have at least 4 cups or more.

2Place bread on a cookie sheet and dribble with half of the olive oil mixture until all cubes are coated (the rest of the olive oil will be used on the salad).

3Bake at 225° for 3 to 4 hours.

4After this they should be golden brown.

5If not, turn oven to 275° for 10 minutes.

6Remove and cool.
