- 4 c. milk, scalded
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
Directions

1Beat eggs until frothy.

2Add sugar and beat well.

3Gradually stir about 1 cup milk into yolk mixture.

4Add to remaining milk, stirring constantly.

5Pour into top of a double boiler.

6Bring water to a boil.

7Reduce heat, stir constantly, until it reaches the thickness you want.

8Stir in vanilla.

9Serve warm or cold.
