  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 teaspoon 10X powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/3 c. Crisco

Directions

    Mix flour, sugar, baking pwdr and Crisco.

    Stir till little balls appear like cornbread.

    Add in buttermilk and stir quickly, till mix does not stick to the side of bowl.

    Turn out on floured bowl.

    Roll around with hand about 5 min.

    Roll dough 1/2 inch thick with rolling pin.

    Cut with 3 1/2 inch cutter.

    Grease baking pan.

    Dip biscuits into butter before baking (1/2 stick for recipe).

    Bake at 400 degrees for 15 min.
