  • 5 slices Bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 pkg. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp. butter
  • 2 tsp. red
  • white wine
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 6 eggs (depends on the size of the eggs
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/8 tsp. fresh ground nutmeg

    Cook onions mushrooms and garlic in fry pan w/olive oil until well brown.

    Add wine in the middle of cooking and finish with the butter Using an 8 or 9 Pie Plate, spray with nonstick oil of choice and place pie crust in and crimp edges Beat milk, eggs, 1/2 and 1/2, and spices well with electric hand mixer Crumble bacon on bottom of pie crust and add cooked BOM mixture on top.

    Sprinkle 1/2 of cheese on top Add egg mixture Top with the remainder of the cheese Bake at 350-375 degrees Bake about 40 to 45 min.

    until done in the center; check with a knife Cover with foil if cheese is getting too brown.
