- 1 lb brussels sprouts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lemon (optional)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon salt (I use the lesser amount)
- 1 tsp herbs (oregano, thyme, etc.)
- 2 tbsp toasted bread crumbs
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350.

2Wash the sprouts.

3Peel off the loose outer leaves until you're left with sprouts that have leaves that are tightly wrapped.

4Cut off the stems.

5Slice the sprouts in half.

6Place the sprouts in a bowl and add the olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs.

7Toss to coat.

8Spread the sprouts on a baking sheet, cut sides down.

9Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.

10Toss with the bread crumbs and the juice of the lemon half (if you are using it).

11Serve immediately.
