- 2 14 lbs bonito tuna, a single slice or 2 14 lbs tuna
- 4 onions
- 4 thin green peppers (the sweet ones) or 2 medium green bell peppers
- salt
- 6 fluid ounces oil
Directions

1Peel the onion and slice into fine rings.

2Wash the peppers, remove the stalk and seeds, and cut into thin strips.

3Heat the oil gently in an oven-safe pan and fry the onion and pepper, until tender and almost caramelized.

4Add salt to taste.

5Remove the skin and the bone from the center from the fish.

6Divide into two thick fillets, season and add to the onion and pepper mixture.

7Broil for one minute and serve.

8The bonito must be only just cooked to keep it moist.
