Ingredients

  • 2 cups diced chicken breast
  • 2 cloves garlic, diced
  • 2 md. carrots
  • 1/4 head cabbage shredded
  • 2 dried bay leaves
  • 1/2 can tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup dried beans (soaked overnight)
  • 1 tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1 red beet, sliced then diced
  • 2 diced potatoes
  • 1 can (1-1/4 lb.) tomatoes
  • 2 stalks diced celery
  • 3 tbsp. parsle
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. sugar

Directions

    Bring 5 litres of water to a boil in pot.

    Put in chicken, salt, bay leaves, onion, garlic cloves, beets, beans and one tbsp parsley.

    Boil approximately 20 minutes over medium heat.

    Add carrots, celery, potatoes, cabbage, can of tomatoes, tomato paste and another tbsp parsley.

    Boil another 20 minutes.

    Add last tbsp parsley, vinear and sugar.

    Boil another 5 minutes over very low heat.
