Ingredients
- 2 lb. fresh cod fillets, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 lb. fresh sea scallops
- 3/4 c. chopped onions
- 3/4 c. sliced celery
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1/3 c. butter
- 2 c. clam broth (bottled or canned)
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 2 cans (1 lb. each) tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp. saffron
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 small lobsters (optional)
Directions

1In large pot, saute onion, celery and garlic in butter until just soft.

2Add clam broth, water, wine, herbs and fish.

3Bring to boil; simmer 10 minutes.

4Add scallops; simmer 10 minutes more. Season to taste.
