  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 1/3 c. bourbon
  • 2 1/2 c. finely crushed vanilla wafers (about 55 wafers)
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped walnuts

Directions

    In a heavy saucepan, heat chocolate pieces over low heat until melted, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat.

    Stir in sugar and corn syrup.

    Stir in bourbon until well mixed.

    Add vanilla wafers and nuts to chocolate mixture and mix well.

    Let stand about 30 minutes.
