  • 12 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • hamburger meat or stew beef
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 2 Tbsp. paprika
  • 1 medium shredded cabbage

    Cook meat; cool and drain off fat.

    Combine all other ingredients; add meat back to mixture and simmer for 45 minutes.
