Braised Cabbage

  • 1 1/2 lb. shredded cabbage
  • 3 carrots, grated
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 green onions, chopped or 4 stalks chives, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    In skillet, heat butter until foamy. Add onions or chives and saute until tender. Add cabbage and carrots. Saute over high heat until tender-crisp, about 4 minutes.

    Add salt and pepper.
